Biplane & Air Combat Adventures

This activity is for groups who are looking for something truly unique. Enjoy thrilling rides in actual vintage planes and entertain your group at a aerial theme party. Activities can be conducted at Palomar Airport in San Diego or in Borrego Springs. The fleet includes two restored 1920's open cockpit biplanes, and two Varga VG-21's with tandem seating, glass canopies, and dual-stick controls. Groups of 6 to 30

Biplane Rides: Two lucky passengers at a time done their helmets and goggles for a gentle or exciting flight - your choice! Soar above the ocean cliffs and coastal flower fields or the barren desert floor with nothing in front of you but a throbbing engine and whirling propeller. 20 - 60 minute rides

Top Dog Air Combat: The Varga VG 21's deliver a thrilling re-creation of WWII dog fights. Don flightsuits and learn the basics of air combat while engaging in an actual aerial battle. Everything's real but the bullets! Trip includes several aerial engagements. 30 minute flights
