GPS Techno Team Challenge

The challenge is on! Teams advance through the selected area – silent with anticipation as they close in on the hidden cache or check points. The mission: to skillfully combine the use of GPS devices and other navigational technologies – to find hidden caches of goods or to be the first at the finish point!

Success will require a combination of competition and collaboration. Teams must design a plan, execute it, and attempt to reach the final goal.

This activity can be structured around the time constraints of the group and can finish at a designated spot. Various team challenges can be located near the checkpoints, depending on time and group size, and the teams can earn points by successfully completing the challenges in addition to finding the location. Challenges will be kept fun and light-hearted. Some will be creative and some physical and require the efforts of the team.

Cost includes all GPS devices, program organization, staffing, team challenges, and a trophy for the winning team. Sound system required for start and finish with larger groups.
