Mountain Biking

All tours are conducted by professional guides and include a state-of-the-art mountain bike, helmet and all equipment. A chase van is available for those who tire or just want to go along for the ride. Groups of 10 - 80.

Palomar Plunge

This tour will get your adrenalin pumping! You will experience the thrill of descent with no pedaling required. Guests are met in Pauma Valley and given a narrated scenic tour up Palomar mountain in an air-conditioned van. After touring the world famous Palomar Observatory and Hale Telescope, enjoy a hearty lunch, followed by an exciting 16 mile, 5000 foot descent by bike down the Highway to the Stars and back to Pauma Valley. Stops are made for photo ops and views. Off-road version also available. Approximately 4 hours

La Jolla Downhill Plunge

This invigorating beach road tour begins at the peak of Mount Soladad in the La Jolla/Pacific Beach area. Cruise down the hill through impressive neighborhoods and scenic parks. The tour takes you to the boardwalk along the ocean, through Pacific Beach and Mission Beach to Belmont Park, home of the historic roller coaster, where the group can enjoy the sun and sights for a while before returning.

Mission Bay Bike Tour

A peaceful, scenic cruise around Mission Bay beaches & parks. Circle the bay on great bike paths with an optional "fitness ride" loop around Fiesta Island for an aerobic workout. 15 miles

Cliff-Side Cruise

Cruise from La Jolla cliffs, through scenic neighborhoods to the ocean in Pacific Beach, turning inland at Mission Bay to Mission Beach. Extraordinary ocean and bay views. 15 miles
