Orienteering Team Challenge
Orienteering, known as “the thinking sport,”
challenges the mind as well as the body. Popular in Europe for years,
it can be a stroll, a hike, or a race – depending on your group.
The object is for the team to work together to find their way to various
checkpoints and to a final destination with the aid of a detailed topographical
map, a compass, and other equipment. Depending on the objective of the
group, there may be various obstacles or challenges along the way.
The meet will be custom-designed
for your group and can include team exercises and a facilitated discussion
afterward. This is an exhilarating and fun way to bring the group together
and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Meets
can be organized in the Anza Borrego Desert, the Cuyamaca Mountains,
Balboa Park, Mission
Trails Park, Palm Springs, La Jolla (UCSD campus), Lake Hodges and other
areas.
